I am a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in consultation and  intervention for young people with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Language Learning Disorders (LLD), and Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities (NVLD). I have PEERS program training as well as many years experience teaching and facilitating Social Thinking strategies. Through my work as a school district SLP and mother of teens with ADHD, I am familiar with the academic, social, emotional, and executive function challenges facing many students. I communicate regularly with school teams, parents, and community agencies in order to help them network effectively. I also strive to provide students with valuable, evidence-based “point of performance” strategies and experiences to further their success.

    Iye 15 yr old daughter has a diagnosis of pragmatic SCD.
    She is kind, smart, sweet, aware of and considerate of others.
    She has mild anxiety due to feelings of social awkwardness.
    She’s not disruptive and doesn’t have any behavioural issues.
    She needs a group to learn and practice skills in starting and maintaining reciprocal conversation skills, using and interpreting facial communication skills and modulating eye contact appropriately.
    She attends Alcuin College in N Van where we live.
    She also has dyslexia and dyscalcula. She’s a very hard worker, adored by her teachers and peers and is keen to meet kind and fun people.
